We liked this
campground. It is an Escapees Club only
campground where the members own the camping spots. They are allowed to put their own out
building on their site, which makes the sites quite wide. They have a big fenced in dog run area with
toys already there. The streets and pads
are paved and it’s a quiet place to stay.
All water was processed through a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system. This made
the water quite tasty and good for the RV.
They have a get together every night in the club house to talk about the
day everyone had (I guess. We didn’t
actually go to one). The only thing they
didn’t have was propane, so we had to go to the KOA down the road to get our
tank filled. At night, people would ride
their bikes down the road. They had put LED lights on the rims which made it
cool to see. Yes, I am that simple. They also had a lot of road runners that hung
around. The funny thing is I didn’t hear
one “Beep! Beep!” nor did I see a coyote running around. Here are a few pictures we took.
Below is my Pro’s and Con’s for this campground.
Pro’s:
o
Large
spots to camp in.
o
Fenced
in dog run
o
RO
water (never been to a campground that had that before)
o
Quiet
Con’s:
o
You
have to be an Escapee’s member to stay here. (it cost like $30 for the
year. Well worth it.
o
No
propane fill here. Have to go somewhere
else, and they didn’t say we could just go to the KOA to get that done.
