This campground was set up in a valley/bowl shaped area just a little over a mile from the Forestville State park. This was a quiet campground that has lots of trees and some large fields around it. This was an awakening for bugs to come and get me. They were everywhere. The campground did have Wifi and full hookups. It looked like most people left their trailers there all the time and just came for the weekend to camp. I guess that works if you live nearby and just want a "Vacation Home". Too bad they don't do that back in Colorado or if they do, we didn't know about it. Here are the pictures we took here.
Pros:
- Wifi
- quiet
- average size lots
Cons:
- Lots of bugs and mosquitos.
- Made it a point that the dog could not be let off the leash...even though there was plenty of fields for him to run in.
