We arrived at the
Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland CO and planned on staying here from 4-9 Oct 2019. This isn't a bad state park. They only offer electricity, but the spots are large and accommodating. We stop here because this is where our doctor's office is. We will probably start seeing doctors in Arizona next year, but for now, we are here.
While we were here, we decided to check out
Rocky Mountain National Park just outside of
Estes Park Co. If you have never been to Colorado and have it on your bucket list, then this park is one to check out. I think we have been to the park at least one...or one hundred times. This time, we spent most of the time by Bear lake and did a hike up to some waterfalls.
Here are the pictures of that. After the doctor stuff, we headed to
Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora CO from 9-23 Oct 2019. While here, we planned on hanging with our son and going to a couple of Bronco games.
So when we arrived on the 9th, it was a nice and sunny day. The next day was totally different. We had a few flurries on that day. Like I said earlier, we also hit a couple of Bronco games. We shutout Tennessee on the first game and got our ass handed to us on the second game against K.C.
We also picked up some new shoes for Scout.
Check this video out for a good laugh. He did get better walking in them, but doesn't like wearing them.
Oh and here is nice picture on a truck and wanna be a truck. Like I said, Michael visited with us a few times...probably for food, but still it was good. I also went and saw some former co-workers for a bit. But other than that, we didn't do anything. I guess we are now off to Elephant Butte state park in NM with a overnight stop at the Santa Fe KOA. We stayed at Elephant Butte from 24 Oct - 1 Nov 2019. While we were here, we took a trip to the town of Hatch and had some lunch, but other than that, we just relaxed.
