loveland-Aurora CO - 2018

Hello from Colorado!,  We made it back to Colorado to get some DR appointments in and see friends and family.  You can breathe easy, because there is nothing wrong, just doing checkups.  We stayed at Boyd Lake State Park up in loveland (12 - 17 Oct) for our DR appointments and then popped on down to Cherry Creek State Park (17 - 31 Oct) to visit with Friends and family. 

When we were out of town, we heard that our friend Cheryl passed away unexpectedly.  We were hoping to say hi to her family and reached out, but didn't push it.  We weren't able to hook up on this trip, but are hoping to when we come back through.  Rest in Peace Cheryl.

While we were at Boyd's Lake, we had an issue with the toilet Flush Pedal.  It didn't want to say on and eventually, the Spring for it decided to come off too.  After messing with it for a while, we said screw this and went and bought a new (but same type) toilet.  Didn't have a problem with it after that.  We sent the bill to Grand Design and they reimbursed us for the price of the toilet.

We also visited my Dad's Grave and our other friend Skip South's grave at the Ft. Logan Cemetery.  RIP you too also!.

  We were able to meet up with Don and Diane, and with Pete and Gwen.  John and Marry also invited us out to there house for a very nice Salmon dinner.  We were stuffed after that one.  We also took our son out to dinner.  I think this is the best way to see him.  You say FOOD and he comes. 😄

Since it was our Anniversary Month, we went to Shanahan's for dinner. this is one of our favorite steak houses in the the denver metro area.  While we were waiting for our table, Terry got to get a picture of her and one of the Lombardi Trophy.   She enjoyed that.









While we were in cherry creek, we ordered and received our new Yacht.  That's right, we got a 3 person (very, very short people) inflatable Fishing Kayak from Sea Eagle.  It does fit us two just fine, but I don't know where that third person would sit, other than on the bow or aft of the boat.  More about this at another campground.
