Lake Havasu City AZ - 2019

Off to Lake Havasu City, just a short jaunt up the road (70 miles or so)....3 hours later, we finally arrived.  That's right, we had tortoises pass us while we sat on the road waiting for the accident to get cleared up.  I didn't mention this before, but the morning before we left and the day we left, it started to rain and didn't stop.  So on the way to Lake Havasu, we had to cross several rivers running across the road.  I don't think that caused the accident, but I wasn't there either.

Anyway, we arrived at Havasu RV Resort.  This is also a Coast-to-Coast Resort, so our stay was only $70 for the week.  While we were here, I wanted to take our boat out and float under the London Bridge, but didn't know if I needed to bring my passport with or not.  Not to mention the weather didn't always cooperate, so we didn't do that.

When we were there, they had a car show going on called "Busses by the Bridge".  It was a bunch of volkswagon busses.  Here are the pics for that for all you bus lovers.

Well that's it for here.  We are heading back to Quartzsite for a few days then to Vegas for Terry's birthday.  But Quartzsite first.
