Kennewick WA - 2019

We are here at the Columbia Sun RV Resort in Kennewick WA.  We will be here from 25-30 Sep for the Grand Design (GD) Rally.  I'm telling you, if you are in the area and want to stay at a really nice park, then this is the place.  I have yet to rate any park 10 out of 10, but for this one...it's a 10!.  Don't ask me why, but it just is.  It has large sites, friendly staff, dog parks, nightly entertainment, at least they did while we were at the rally.  The wagon master said the park did that.  All-in-all, a 10.
OK, but we weren't here for the park, we were here for the party...rally.  This rally was no different than any other rally, except we won $150 off of drawings and a game.  What game? you ask?  The "RV there yet" game.  I guess it's like the Newlywed game. (someone asks you about your spouse and your spouse must answer correctly for you youngsters out there.) We ended up taking 2nd after 3 ties with the first place winner.  Ended up guessing a number and I guessed wrong, they were closer.
One night we were talking to the wagon master and mentioned GD should do a cruise.  A couple months later, we received notification of a GD cruise, so we signed up for that for Jan 2021 to the eastern Caribbean on Princess cruise line, but that's another story.   We didn't get many pictures here, just the swag bag we got when checking in and a picture of some of the prizes they were going to give out.

Our next stop in our journey was to the Twin Falls/Jerome KOA in Twin Falls, ID.  We hung out here from 30 Sep - 2 Oct 2019.  Why?  why not?  Oh and that we were burning time going to see our friend in Wyoming.  We stayed busy while here.  We saw the Niagara Falls and one of the canyons that Evel Knievel Jumped. (That was a famous stunt man back in the day, again for you youngsters.).  What?  Niagara Falls is in New York? Not the Niagara of the west, it's here in Twin Falls at the Shoshone Falls Park.  If you like waterfalls, this is a must stop.  Really pretty.  Here is our pictures of it.
We then headed to the visitor center which talked about Evel and other stuff.  I guess the jump sight is just a field now with no markings but they did have plenty of info in and around the visitor center.  Here are the pictures we took of that. (I don't know whose grave that is, it was by the river banks.  Couldn't hold the camera still enough to get a good zoom.)
Looks like we are done with Idaho (for now) and are off to Wyoming.  We are staying at the Highline Trail RV Park in Boulder, WY, hanging out from 2-4 Oct 2019.  Talking about a park with large spots.  I think we could have parked another one or two RVs in between us and the next spot.  We were at the end of the season for most parks so it wasn't busy.  We stopped here to see our friend Rob.  While at lunch with him, he mentioned a nice drive we should take, so after lunch and our goodbyes, we explored that road.  The road is Hwy 740 and it goes up by a ski resort and some lakes to a place were you can see some mountain peaks.  Real pretty.  Here are the pictures we took of that.
Well were now off to Loveland CO.  See you there.
