Hey, we made it to 2020! Last year was a trip wasn't it? We are still here in Benson and have a few trips in store before we head out for the summer. So let's get to it. Our first trip was to Quartzsite AZ for the Grand Design Rally. This is the only GD rally I know that is pure dry camping. Last year, they did a good job and had two separate areas, one for solar people and one for generators. This year was suppose to be the same thing, but the people checking in everyone said that it's OK to run your generator because everyone with solar does. Well that isn't true so I had people on both sides running their generator all day and most of the evening. So next year, they are going to have two different sections because of the complaints. That's OK, we are going on a cruise then anyway. While at the rally, I had new suspension installed on the RV to give it a smoother ride. I installed the
MORryde SRE-4000 for it. I also had my bearings packed too. It's a good thing to do yearly.

Out with the old, In with the new. |
While we were at Quartzsite, we took a side trip to Lake Havasu to see my Aunt, that I guess I didn't know I had. Come to find out, she babysat me when I was a baby. Who knew. Anyway, it was a great visit and we plan on doing that again. When we got back to Benson, I ordered a new pin box for the RV. The MORryde Pin Box. They say, it will smooth out the ride in the truck when pulling the trailer. Can't wait to see if it's true or not. We also finally got our slide issue fixed. Ended up being the Hydraulic Ram on the driver side slide. Now our slides come in without issue. If I didn't tell you we were having issues with that, then we were having issues with that. Well that was it for January,
In February, We did even less. Partly because I pulled a muscle in my back and then Terry got a good ole cold. One of the things I did do, was contact RV Armour about my roof. Remember I had it put on and it had a lifetime warranty against leaks. Well I found several area's that needed to be fixed, so they sent a tech out to fix all the issues...I hope. The park started a computer clinic where they help people with their computer issues, so I headed over to get my computer fixed. When I got to the club house, I forgot to bring my computer, so I helped fix other people's computers. While I was helping this one gentleman out...did you know I was in the navy and should have known better...an announcement was put out looking for a backup person to take care of some security cameras. I don't know what happen, but next thing I knew, my hand was in the air. So now I'm the backup person for these cameras. The primary person, doesn't know a lot about networking and these cameras, so I have been kinda taking the lead to get stuff working correctly. It's been fun though.
Terry was able to find time to finish two quilts she was working on and we then found a place in Tucson that will quilt them. They should be done by the end of March. We were having issues with the "Add Coolant" message coming up in the truck when we started it, but then it would go away. Eventually, it would just stay on. So since it's really broke now, we took the truck in and found out the reservoir sensor was bad. So that was replaced and all is good now. That's it for February. See you in March.
